Nala needs extensive vet care. She’s escaped to Pet Refuge from an abusive home, where money and freedom to leave the house were withheld from her human-Mum as a way to gain control. Lack of access to vet care means Nala now desperately needs antibiotics for an infection in her mouth, surgery to remove rotting teeth, and prescription food to help her gain weight again after not being able to chew her meals.
